On December 15th Yezidis will celebrate Aida Ezid
On December 15th, Yezidis of the whole world celebrate Aida Ezid - one of the main holidays in the Yezidi religion.It is preceded by a three-day fast.
Aida Ezid falls on the first Friday of December in the eastern, Julian calendar, which in 2017 falls on December 15. Sultan Ezid is a symbolic figure in Yezidism and personifies one of the three hypostases of God.
