Fighting for the Yazidis
It took eight months, but on October 25 we were finally successful in convincing Justin Trudeau and the Liberals that Yazidis who are being enslaved and exterminated by ISIS are deserving of Canadian help.
It’s disappointing that it took so long – the Yazidis are some of the most vulnerable people in the world today. The girls and women are bought and sold as sex slaves while the men face death, just because of their religious beliefs.
