The book is a collection of basic materials on the archeology of Mesopotamia, from ancient times to the 6th century. BC. It briefly tells about the results of archaeological research conducted in the territory of Iraqi and Syrian Kurdistan for more than 100 years. The paper highlights the problems of town planning, architecture, art, weapons, utensils of peoples inhabiting the interfluve of the Tigris and the Euphrates in antiquity.
